Wellington has developed a long-lasting relationship with the Pittsburgh International Airport for over 30 years. The Terminal Modernization projects on which Wellington is working encompass multiple phases, including:
- Construction of a new five-story multi-level parking garage with rental car service areas, quick turnaround facilities and ready/return, and 3,500 public parking spaces
- A new customer service building as a connector to the new terminal
- Commercial vehicle ground transportation staging lot for taxis and transportation network company vehicles and cell phone lot for vehicles waiting for arriving vehicles
- New long-term public parking
- Replacement of 13 existing Pre-Conditioned Air (PCA) Units that supply aircraft with cooling and heating for the cabin while parking at the terminal gate and allow the shut-down of all aircraft engines
