Verizon 7th Avenue Fire Alarm System Upgrade

Pittsburgh, PA

Wellington completed the integration of a new fire alarm panel and system, equivalent to over 3,000 man hours, while keeping Verizon’s existing system in place and operational. Installation and testing included over 1,800 initiating devices such as smoke detectors, duct detectors, monitor modules, and pull stations, and over 600 new notification devices including speakers and strobes, as well as switching out 32 VESDA units (early warning fire detection). A new building-wide radio antenna system for fire fighter communications was also installed and tested.
